Your friend in every interview.
AMI listens to your interview and quietly suggests strong, personalised answers — right on your screen, and hidden from screen sharing.
How it works
No browser extension, no bot joining your call, nothing for the other side to click accept on.
Start a session
Open AMI before your interview and start a session. A small overlay appears on your screen, kept out of the taskbar and the alt-tab list.
AMI listens
It transcribes the conversation on your own computer as it happens, so it always has the real context of what was asked.
You get an answer
A suggested answer streams onto the overlay within a couple of seconds, in your chosen tone and length. You decide what to say.
Built for the moment it matters
Hidden from screen sharing
The overlay asks Windows to exclude it from screen capture, so it does not appear when you share your screen. You do not have to take our word for it — AMI has a built-in check that captures your screen the way a screen-share does and tells you whether the overlay showed up.
Your audio stays on your machine
Speech is transcribed locally, on your own computer, by a model that ships inside the app. The recording never leaves your machine — only the resulting question text is sent, so an answer can be written.
No API keys, no setup
Nothing to sign up for elsewhere and no keys to paste in. Install it, answer a couple of questions about yourself, and start.
Your plan follows you
Subscriptions belong to your account, not your laptop. Sign in on a different computer and your plan is restored there, as often as you need.
One paid plan
There is a free trial and one paid plan. Items marked Planned are on the roadmap and not available yet — we would rather tell you now than after you pay.

We used to list three paid tiers. They served the same thing, so we stopped pretending otherwise and cut it to one. More will return only when they come with features that actually differ.
Questions people actually ask
Can the interviewer see it?
Not through a screen share. The overlay asks Windows to exclude it from screen capture, and it stays out of the taskbar and alt-tab.
Be realistic about the limits: it cannot hide from a camera pointed at your screen, a hardware capture device, someone in the room, or proctoring software that inspects running processes rather than the picture. Behaviour can also vary with your graphics driver, which is why AMI ships a check that verifies it on your machine. Run it before you rely on it.
Is using this allowed?
That depends entirely on the interview or assessment you are taking, and it is your responsibility to check. Many employers prohibit assistance during assessments. AMI is a tool; where you use it is your call, and so are the consequences.
What happens to my interview audio?
It stays on your computer. AMI ships with a speech-recognition model that runs locally, so the audio is transcribed on your own machine. The recording is never uploaded and we never receive it.
What does leave your computer is the text of the question, which is sent to our server so an answer can be generated and streamed back. Nothing else about the conversation is transmitted.
What data do you actually store?
Your display name and language, an identifier for your computer, how much trial time you have used, and — if you create one — your email address and subscription status.
Payment details never reach us at all. Paddle is the merchant of record and handles cards, invoices and tax, which is why your statement shows their name. The privacy policy covers retention and how to request deletion.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. Install it and the 40-minute trial starts on first use. You only need an account to subscribe, because a subscription belongs to a person rather than a machine — which is what lets your plan move to a new computer.
Does the trial reset if I reinstall?
No. It is tied to the computer rather than the installation, so reinstalling or clearing app data will not bring it back. That is deliberate — it keeps the free tier fair.
Can I use it on my laptop and my desktop?
Yes, on a paid plan. Install AMI on the other machine and sign in with the same email; your plan is restored there, and your first computer is unaffected. Repeat as often as you need.
The free trial does not transfer — it belongs to each machine separately.
How do I cancel?
In the app, open Account and cancel there, or use the billing portal to change plan or update your card. Access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for, then drops back to Free — you are not cut off early and you are not charged again.
See the refund policy for refunds.
Does it work on Mac or Linux?
Not yet. AMI is a Windows 10 and 11 desktop application today, and there is no web version. The screen-capture protection it relies on is a Windows feature, so a port is not a simple recompile.
Does it work offline?
Partly, and not usefully. Transcription runs on your machine so that part works without a connection, but answers are generated on our servers — so AMI cannot reply while you are offline.
